Use

This plugin creates the alphabetized archive page which offers readers another way to access the archives. Using this plugin, multiple indexes can be setup to display the archives differently using the different settings that come with the plugin. This could be useful to represent the archives in even more ways. After an index is created, the plugin automatically updates its cache when new posts or pages are updated. This makes the plugin stand alone, requiring no maintenence.

Upgrade

This plugin is updated frequently and thus requires frequent upgrades. However, it is a very simple upgrade with no customizations and very little risk of inadvertently harming anything. Simply deactivate the plugin, replace the files with the upgrade, and reactivate.
