The new format for InfoTech Tuesday is built on WordPress and functions very much like a blog. This provides a multitude of new functionalities and other benefits. One benefit is that it works similar to a content management system, so multiple authors and editors can contribute to InfoTech Tuesday. This means each author/editor has an account for the site with which they will write and edit their posts.

As an InfoTech Tuesday author, you have already been given an account:

username: [your eid]

password:  itnews

You are encouraged to do two things when you get a chance to check out the site and your account:

1. Change your password.
2. Fill out the profile information and upload an image (optional).  (Every author will likely have his/her own profile page including their profile information and a feed of all their articles.)
