Once an author has published an article, they will have a profile page automatically created for them. That page can be found at...
http://itnews.itac.k-state.edu/author/[username]/
On the profile page there is a list of the articles that the author has written in addition to a picture and a few bits of information about the author. All of these pieces of information can be controlled by the author on their profile page. Authors can edit the following pieces of information by going to Profile > Your Profile - http://itnews.itac.k-state.edu/wp-admin/profile.php -
- Job Title
- Department
- Office
- Phone
- Department Website
- Staff Profile Page
- Photo
There are a number of other fields that are not in use and thus that do not need to be filled out. They include:
- Website
- AIM
- Yahoo IM
- Jabber / Google Talk
- Biographical Info
From the Dashboard, click "Your Profile"...
