Summary

The Google Analyticator plugin puts the appropriate Google Analytics code in the templates so that statistics can be accurately recorded.

Use

Google Analyticator is linked to the itnews.itac Google account. This plugin requires a code from that account to properly insert the javascript needed into the templates. However, once that is setup, this plugin requires nothing else to function properly. Be sure to check the UID box to ensure it has a code. Statistics can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/. There are also a few settings that can be modified in the Analyticator settings page: Settings > Google Analytics. Since statistics are so very important, and since statistic recording problems could go undetected for some time, it is a good practice to login to Google Analytics from time to time to make sure everything is still setup properly and recording statistics.

Upgrade

There are no modifications to this plugin, so upgrading it is as simple as deactivating, replacing the files with the upgrade, and reactivating.
